Our services run longer than usual on Palm Sunday which leaves only about 20 minutes for Christian Formation so this year we decided to do an "intergenerational" activity by teaching everyone how to fold palm crosses in our parish hall during these 20 minutes.
Persons of a variety of ages are going to serve as "teachers" to show others how to make the crosses. We also save a bit of money by making them ourselves instead of purchasing them already folded as we used to do.
